Captain Dinesh Neupane, a brave pilot from Dolpa, saved nine passengers by making an emergency landing after his aircraft malfunctioned, sacrificing his life for their safety.

Captain Neupane was on a flight with Air Kasthamandap from Nepalgunj to Jumla when technical difficulties arose. Despite the challenges, he managed to land the aircraft safely in a field in Kalikot, saving the lives of all passengers onboard. His actions were recognized posthumously, and he was awarded the Narayan-Ishwori Neupane Samajsewa Ojaswi Award for bravery.

Captain Dinesh Neupane’s legacy continues to inspire, and he is honored as a symbol of unparalleled courage in Nepal’s aviation history. His selflessness serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by those in critical professions, always prioritizing others’ safety.
